Reporting and Export Selection

Selected time series can be processed by the accompanying reports, graphics, statistics, and export engines included on the CD-ROM. Note that there are limits to the number of time series that can be handled by these options.

Selecting Dates for Reporting and Exporting

• After you have made your selections from the "results" list on any of the search screens, then click the Spreadsheet button.
• On the Select Dates screen that appears, click each year that you would like included in the report.  The selected years will be highlighted with a red circle.  Click the OK button when you are done selecting years, and the CD will display a table of your chosen variables and years.

The display screen appears in spreadsheet format, and allows some spreadsheet-like manipulations. 

The Edit and Format menus allow changes to the appearance of the display.

The Evaluation menu allows users to calculate descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, minimum and maximum values), multiple regressions, and to transform time series.

The Chart menu provides the ability to display tables and charts (line, bar, pie, scatter) for a limited number of selected time series.

The Transfer menu allows the export of data in a variety of formats, including Excel, ASCII, Lotus, and dBase (see Transfer Options Screen graphic below).
