United States Personnel and Funding Resources for Science, Engineering, and Technology: Surveys of Recent Science and Engineering Graduates

Conducted for the National Science Foundation


The Surveys of Recent Science and Engineering Graduates (SRSEG) were designed to obtain information on the occupational and educational status graduates who received bachelors or masters degrees. Data include: number of new entrants into various science and engineering fields, general demographic characteristics of new entrants, type of employers, primary work activities, median salaries earned, and geographical distribution of new entrants. This data set is also known as the New Entrants Studies.

You can search the DPLS online catalog for other NSF data in the DPLS archive. New studies may be added to this online site as time allows.
