The 1990 5% Public Use Microdata Sample has been corrected to include the new group quarters records. We have yet to receive notification of a new release of the 99 files for the 1% sample and as a result the 1% sample remains unchanged. Users who wish to obtain the entire corrected 5% PUMS or just the corrected group quarters record files for both the 5% or 1% PUMS may do so here or through an anonymous FTP site (ftp.psc.lsa.umich.edu).
