Surveys of Recent Science and Engineering Graduates; and, Surveys of Natural and Social Scientists and Engineers
The Surveys of Recent Science and Engineering Graduates (SRSEG) were designed to obtain information on the occupational and educational status graduates who received bachelors or masters degrees. The Surveys of Natural and Social Scientists and Engineers (SNSSE) were biennial longitudinal sample surveys designed to provide data on the characteristics of persons engaged in natural and social science, engineering, or related fields. Both were conducted for the National Science Foundation (NSF).
More recent survey information on scientists and engineers from the National Science Foundation can be found at SESTAT, the Scientists and Engineers Statistical Data System, an integrated data collection effort capturing information about employment, educational, and demographic characteristics of scientists and engineers in the United States.
