American Economics Association Metasite Update: “RFE: Resources for Economists on the Internet” (Vol. 14, No. 4), edited by Bill Goffe, has been updated through Apr. 16, 2011). “This guide is sponsored by the American Economic Association. It lists more than 2,000 resources in 97 sections and sub-sections available on the Internet of interest to academic and practicing economists, and those interested in economics. Almost all resources are also described. In selecting resources for RFE, I exercise some editorial judgment and select items that either offer a substantial amount of information, or are specialized to a given area.”

CSSRR editor’s note: In the ancient days of the Internet, subject specialists and librarians used to put together annotated lists of resources in a specific field. There are still a few of these around, if you look past Google. This was and still is one of the best.
