Kids Count Data Center Update: The Annie E. Casey Foundation Kids Count Data Center has recently updated the following topics, taken from new estimates available from the 2008 American Community Survey

NEW DATA ON IMMIGRANT CHILDREN

Children with all available parents not in the labor force by children in immigrant families

Children with all available parents in the labor force by children in immigrant families

Children in low-income working families by children in immigrant families

Children living without secure parental employment by children in immigrant families

NEW YOUTH EMPLOYMENT DATA

Teens not attending school and not working

Teens not attending school and not working by race
Unemployed Teens ages 16-19

Persons age 18-24 not attending school, not working and no degree beyond high school

NEW EMPLOYMENT DATA AVAILABLE

Low-income working families with children

Children in low-income working families by age group

Children in low-income households where no adults work

Children living in families where no parent has full-time, year-round employment

Children living in families where no parent has full-time, year-round employment by race

Children under 6 with no parent in the labor force

Children under 6 with all available parents in the labor force

Children age 6-12 with all available parents in the labor force
