Abstract: This special topic poll sought respondents' impressions of Bill and Hillary Clinton, including whether they approved of the way Hillary Clinton was handling her position as First Lady. Respondents were also asked about the Whitewater real estate venture, including whether Whitewater was an important issue, and whether it affected their opinion of Hillary Clinton. Respondents' views on Hillary Clinton's Whitewater news conference were probed in detail, with questions on her possible guilt and the manner in which she conducted herself. Demographic background variables include political orientation and sex.
