Abstract: The data contained in this collection are based on interviews carried out among a quota sample of Swiss male citizens, aged 20 and above, living in Lausanne, Switzerland. The interviews were conducted in French during the Summer of 1967 through the Institut Swiss d'Opinion Publique (ISOP). The data include demographic variables, as well as those concerning social mobility, work and career history, mobility orientation, status anxiety, psychological dimensions of alienation, prejudice, and a wide gamut of political values and attitudes. The data were obtained from the University of British Columbia Data Library. Information for the study was obtained from 500 respondents, 4 cards of data per respondent in the form of 202 variables.
