Abstract: This study provides information on personal and occupational characteristics of higher echelon federal executive appointees from Franklin Roosevelt's ascent to the Presidency through April 30, 1965. The positions studied were in the cabinet departments, armed services, and selected major regulatory and other agencies. The dataset consists of 1041 respondents. The data are multiply-punched on 3 cards.
