Abstract: This study is part of a continuing series of monthly surveys that evaluate the Bush presidency and solicit opinions on a variety of political and social issues. Topics covered include the nation's economy, the federal budget deficit, federal income taxes, and the establishment of minimum wage increases by the federal government. Additionally, respondents were asked about the effect of terrorism on international travel and government response to it, income taxes, United States relationship with Israel, and the conflict between Israel and Palestine. They were also asked about purchasing and eating behavior and the possible contamination of fresh fruit. Background information on respondents includes political alignment, 1988 presidential vote choice, education, age, religion, marital status, employment status, race, household income, and sex.
