Abstract: This special topic poll sought respondents' views on the Whitewater investigation. Respondents were asked if they believed the circumstances surrounding the Whitewater real estate deal necessitated a federal investigation. They were also asked about special independent prosecutor Kenneth Starr, particularly whether they approved of his actions. In addition, the Democratic National Campaign Committee's receipt of contributions from foreign sources in Indonesia was addressed. Background variables include sex.
