Abstract: This CD-Rom contains data on human development which is measured by the human development index. It reflects the economic well-being, life expectancy, literacy rate and human command over the resources in different nations. The index is an approximation for capturing the many dimensions of human choices. This CD-Rom contains internationally comparable statistics on 300 indicators for 174 countries. Human Development Reports from 1990 to 1999 in an interactive and searchable format are also included. The user interface allows users to view, select and export specific indicators.
