Abstract: This is a panel survey on the family. Data are from a large, representative national sample of Australians first surveyed by the International Social Science Survey/Australia in 1989/90 survey and re-surveyed in 1993/94. There are 1,779 respondents. Most of the questions are from a collaborative project with the International Social Survey Programme. This panel file is useful in studying attitude stability and change in the general public over a period of years, and other issues that can best be investigated with panel data.
