Abstract: This survey was conducted between July 25-31 in 1989. The sample is 800 adults ages 16 and over in Nicaragua. The major topics include: general outlook of the country(1); economic situation(4); country least liked(1); foreign country helping Nicaragua the most(1); foreign country most harmful to Nicaragua(1); ratings of specific countries(8); approval of Nicaraguan institutions(9); approval of political leaders(15); political ideologies(13); perception of national crisis(1); responsibility for country's situation(1); main national problem(1); elections(2); opposition parties(1); the media(4); and voting intentions(1).
