Bibliographic Citation: County business patterns, 1967 [Cornell Univeristy version].  [machine-readable data file] / U.S. Department of Commerce. Bureau of the Census  [principal investigator(s)] / Washington, D.C.: U.S. Department of Commerce. Bureau of the Census  [distributor].

Date Accessioned: 11/18/2003

Number of Files Received: 0

Comments: Data file was received from Pam Baxter at Cornell University. This file has 95,163 cases. 73, 630 cases fewer than CB-028-001-1-1. It appears to have less detailed information for some SIC industries. After a close examination by Doug Hemken, SSML Statistical Consultant, all retained cases match DPLS's version except 2,382 cases get truncated for their county names. This is because Cornell file uses 12 columns to record the county names while CB-028-001-1-1 uses 18 columns for the county name variable.
