Comments: This CD-Rom was received from Chris Chapman at NCES. It provides ECB program to allow users to view and select variables. SPSS setup program files are in the SPSSprog folder on the CD-ROM. Run setup from E:\SETUP to install ECB program to C:\Progrma Files\NHES 2001 ECB folder on Spearmint and Peppermint. 9/06 Program is installed on Ketchup and Mustard. 5/14 Use this line of code in the Target field for shortcut properties: %SystemRoot%\system32\rundll32.exe %SystemRoot%\system32\VMCPropertyHandler.dll,LaunchVMSal "Windows XP Mode" "||e250c771" "NHES 2001 ECB". It allows ECB to run on a virtual Windows XP machine. After a tag file, a SPSS syntax file and a codebook file are created by ECB, run the batch file, run.bat in C:\Data\NHES2001 to mount the ISO image of the CD-Rom where the data files reside. If the batch file is not run, data files can not be read from the CD-Rom drive E. 1/2020 ECB program is not installed on DISCís public-use PCs running Windows 10. Abstract: This survey involved interviews with the parents or guardians of children enrolled in kindergarten through 8th grade, up to age 15. Data are collected about enrollment in school, school characteristics and experiences, before and after-school arrangements, programs and activities and self-care. Parents of homeschoolers were asked questions about reasons for schooling their children at home and support from their public school or district.
