Comments: Geolytics Release 1.0. Ran setup from the CD-ROM and installed the program to C:\DP2000 directory on public-use PC. This program has built-in data reporting and exporting capabilities as well as thematically shaded, color-mapping capabilities. Users can extract data as dbf, ASCII, shape or mid/mif files and use them as input files for other programs e.g. statistical (SAS, SPSS), database (Access, Oracle), spreadsheet (Excel, 1-2-3), and mapping (Arc View, MapInfo). 9/06 Program is installed on Ketchup and Mustard. 7/09 Beer and Wine replaced Ketchup and Mustard. 5/14 An ISO image was created on the network drive for this CD-Rom.

Abstract: The Demographic Profile contains 100-percent topics, such as sex, age, race, Hispanic or Latino, household relationship,household type, group quarters population, housing occupancy, and housing tenure. The sample items include sample population topics, such as school enrollment, educational attainment, marital status, grandparents as caregivers, veteran status, disability status of the civilian noninstitutionalized population, residence, nativity and place of birth, region of birth of the foreign born,language spoken at home, ancestry, employment status, commuting to work, occupation, industry,class of worker, income, and poverty status. The sample items also include sample housing topics, such as units in structure, year structure built, rooms, year householder moved into unit,vehicles available, house heating fuel, occupants per room, value, mortgage status and selected monthly owner costs, selected monthly owner costs as a percentage of household income, gross rent, and gross rent as a percentage of household income.
