Abstract: The data was collected by a team from the Center for the Study of African Economies (CSAE), University of Oxford, the University of Ghana, Legon and the Ghana Statistical Office. The relevant material is a comprehensive panel data set on a sample of firms within the Ghanaian manufacturing sector. This data was collected over the period 1992 to 1994 in a series of three annual surveys, referred to as wave I, wave II and wave III, as part of the 'Regional Program on Enterprise Development' (RPED) organized by the World Bank.
