Abstract: This poll was conducted via telephone surveys on March 7, 2000. Its sample consists of 760 exiting voters. There are 49 variables on issues such as: Voted for Bill Bradley/Al Gore in Democratic presidential primary (1); When decided who to vote for (1); Which one issue mattered most in deciding vote (1); Before voting registered as Independent/Democrat/not registered (1); Which one candidate quality mattered most in deciding vote (1); Al Gore to liberal/ not liberal enough/about right (1); Bill Bradley too liberal/not liberal enough/about right (1); Would vote for Al Gore/George W. Bush (1); Would vote for Al Gore/John McCain (1); Candidates positions on issues or leadership/personal qualities more important (1): Candidates' health cares plans (1); Bill Bradley/Al Gore more likely to say what he really believes (1); Gore did/did not attack Bradley unfairly (1); Bradley did/did not attack Gore unfairly (1); Bill Clinton job performance (1); Opinion of Bill Clinton as a person (1); Abortion (1); Ever voted in a Democratic presidential primary before (1); Personal finances (1).
