Abstract: This poll was conducted via telephone surveys on February 3, 2004. Its sample consists of 1,220 exiting voters. There are 59 variables on issues such as: Who did respondent vote for in Democratic presidential primary (1); when decided who to vote for (1); which one issue mattered most in deciding vote (1); which one candidate quality mattered most in deciding vote (1); feelings about Bush administration (1); who does respondent trust to handle national security (1); which candidate would stand up to special interests (1); why voted for candidate today (1); homosexual relationships (1); U.S. trade with other countries (1); did/did not at any time plan to support Howard Dean (1); personal finances (1); how often has respondent visited any of the Democratic candidates’ websites (1); would be satisfied/dissatisfied if John Kerry wins the nomination (1); war with Iraq (1); economy (1); respondent/someone in household ever served in U.S. military (1); importance of campaign ads in respondent's vote (1).
