Abstract: This poll was conducted via telephone surveys between June 22-25 in 2000. Its sample consists of 1,021 national adults. It has 80 variables covering topics such as: 2000 presidential election (1); voting intention (3); Clinton job performance (1); satisfaction with direction of US (1); most important problem (1); economy (10; confidence in institutions (15); people recently in the news job performance (10); Microsoft anti-trust lawsuit (1); groups responsible for good US economy (7); gas prices (7); own a SUV (1); gay adults as leaders in the Boy Scouts (1); protesters at abortion clinics have to stay a specified distance away (1); police inform arrestees of constitutional rights (2); inheritance taxes (2); George W. Bush's view of the death penalty (1); Al Gore's view of the death penalty (1); Los Angeles nuclear secret controversy (1); vote in 1996 presidential election (1); e-mail address (2).
