Abstract: There are two waves of face-to-face interview in this study: wave 1 was conducted between April 14-17 and wave 2 April 28-May 1. There are 2,103 adults in the sample. Its topics include: confidence in American Institutions, abortion, extramarital relationship, censorship, religion affiliation, functions of churches and synagogues, role of religion in life, Resurrection of Jesus Christ, pray, meditation, bible, respondent's religious training, religious training for children, friends' religious practices, reasons for going to current churches or synagogues, current religious practices and experiences, reasons for not attending churches or synagogues, attitudes toward churches and synagogues and programs offered by his or her churches or synagogues.
