Abstract: This poll was conducted via telephone surveys on March 5-7, 2004. Its sample consists of 1,005 adults. There are 174 variables on topics such as: How much thought given to upcoming presidential election (1); how often vote (1); plan/do not plan to vote in presidential election this November (2); John Kerry vs. George W. Bush (16); John Kerry vs. George W. Bush vs. Ralph Nader (2); George W. Bush job performance (2); country would be better off if Republicans/Democrats controlled Congress (1); most important issue in vote for president (1); would be more likely to vote for a candidate who would do a good job on the economy/a candidate who would do a good job of protecting the country from terrorism (1); agree/disagree that George W. Bush has the personality and leadership qualities a president should have (1); agree/disagree that John Kerry has the personality and leadership qualities a president should have (1); agree/disagree with George W. Bush on issues that matter most to respondent (1); John Kerry/George W. Bush more likely to change mind on issues for political reasons (1); think John Kerry/George W. Bush will win November election (1); George W. Bush and Republican party have/have not attacked John Kerry unfairly (1); John Kerry and Democratic party have/have not attacked George W.
