Abstract: This poll was conducted via telephone surveys on April 16-18, 2004. Its sample consists of 1,003 adults. There are 141 variables on topics such as: How much thought given to upcoming election for president (1); how often vote (1); plan/do not plan to vote in presidential election this November (2); John Kerry vs. George W. Bush (5); John Kerry vs. George W. Bush vs. Ralph Nader (2); George W. Bush job performance (4); opinion of some people in the news (4); most important issue in respondent's vote for president (1); George W. Bush does/does not mean what he says and say what he means (1); John Kerry does/does not mean what he says and say what he means (1); George W. Bush does a good/poor job of explaining his policies to the public (1); confidence in U.S. government to protect citizens from future terrorist attacks (1); blame for not taking September 11th warnings seriously enough (2); government agencies responsible for preventing terrorist attacks in United States (1); how closely been following news about federal commission investigating 9/11 attacks (1); Iraq (8); respondent usually votes Republican/Democratic (1); movie called "Van Helsing" (2).
