Abstract: These data were collected to examine the growth of slave trade to Jamaica, the internal dynamics of its volume, and how it compared with other trades both within the British Empire and with other leading slave trade routes of other European powers. The study was conducted to examine systematically the actual commercial and navel organization of the trade to this island.
