Abstract: The data file contains responses to questions relating to the respondent's' perceptions of the role of the civil servant, obligation to the government, relations with his supervisors, reasons for entry into the civil service, circumstances of entrance into the civil service, concept of the ideal civil servant, exposure to foreign influences, attitudes towards favoritism in the civil service, and personal characteristics such as education, sex, age, civil service position, marital status, religion, family background, and place of origin.
