Abstract: The data set contains questions relating to the respondent's support for Constitutional reform, the type of reform supported: Inter-partisan, Popular or Syndicate, or Nationalist, knowledge of the reforms, possibility of improvement of the Uruguayan economic crisis, competence of the present government, interest in elections, first, second and last choices for President regardless of party, political affiliation, party to be voted for, worker group support for parties, orientation of political leaders, three items which give the greatest pride in country and those that disturb most. Demographic characteristics include age, socio-economic class, race, education, marital status, profession of respondent and head of family, association memberships, father's political affiliation, birthplace of respondent and parents, length of residency at present address, types of luxury goods owned.
