Abstract: Most questions deal with respondents' contact with marijuana; initial use, physical and mental experiences, social setting of its use, frequency of later use, experience with other drugs, and perceived characteristics of users i.e., view of legalizing marijuana. Also included are background variables for the respondent and his family: siblings: religious preference: campus affiliations: marital status: father's nationality, education and occupation; size of hometown. There are some questions of interest independent of drug use: political preference, self perception, sexual practices, educational and career expectations, a comparison of respondent's views on particular topics with those he believes his parents hold, self-image as an outsider, and reformist outlook.
