Abstract: This study was designed to gather information concerning the sexual experiences of young women. Data were collected through personal interviews with a national sample of adolescent females. Information was collected concerning respondents' attitudes toward premarital sex, knowledge and use of contraceptives, and past or current pregnancies, if any. Respondents were also queried regarding their future educational and career plans. Demographic items include detailed information on the origin of the respondents' family. The file contains 2,193 records and has a logical record length of 760 characters. Documentation includes column locations, code descriptions, and questionnaires.
