Abstract: The data file contains demographic information relating to respondent's place of residence, sex, age, education, occupation, monthly income, religion, family size, marital status, number of children in family (sons and daughters). Family planning data include knowledge about, source of information, necessity of planning, ideal family size, discussion with spouse about family size, practice of birth control, success or failure with methods. Also included are questions relating to opinion on marriage and divorce, importance of children remaining at home after marriage, education for daughters, role of women in the society.
