Abstract: The data file contains demographic information relating to respondent's place of residence, age, age of husband, age at time of marriage, years married to present husband, religion, number of times married, birth or pregnancy, total number of living children, total children less than one year, less than five years, total number of children living with mother, total dead children, total dead children less than one year, loss of pregnancy, total number of pregnancies lost, whether now pregnant, husband's education and occupation, landholding, income, cooperative member, wife's occupation, her income, education, total number of persons in household, type of family. The respondent was also asked about her desire for more children (boys and girls), ideal family size (boys and girls), approval or disapproval of family planning, knowledge of methods of family planning, where learned of methods, actually used methods, desire to learn about family planning, knowledge of where information available.
