Abstract: The data file contains responses relating to knowledge and use of family planning and contraception methods, desire to learn about methods, and approval of these methods. Also included are data on respondent's size and place of residence, whether couple is married, does husband have more than one wife, birthplace, age, tribe, literacy level, religion, occupation, monthly income, number of live children given birth to (male and female), total number of living children (male and female), length of breast feeding of youngest child, number of years of schooling for children (male and female), amount of money spent on children's education, reason for having children, desire for more children, and number (male and female), ideal family size (male and female), and health assistance sought.
