Abstract: Data were gathered from all 442 seventeen-year old boys in school in Lenawee County, Michigan during the spring of 1957. Tests administered included: 1) Cattell's 16PF Test; 2) The California Test of Personality; 3) Cattell's Test of G-Culture Free; 4) a standard questionnaire on educational and occupational aspirations, family background, sociometric questions and related data; and 5) The Occupational Aspiration Scale. (See Chapter 6 of The Occupational Aspiration Scale by Archibald O. Haller and Irwin W. Miller located on the methodology shelves at DPLS.) Limited data were also collected from junior and senior boys in Mason, Michigan in the spring of 1958 for reliability analysis.
