Abstract: This study was carried out by Chilton Research Services of Radnor, Pennsylvania, under the direction of B. Sussman of the Washington Post and J. Alderman of ABC News. Interviews were conducted with 1,508 adults. Respondents were asked their opinions on labor unions, events in Poland, and presidential policies. Demographic information about the respondent is also included. Data are available in either OSIRIS or card image formats. There are 122 variables and 1,508 cases in this collection. The codebook is machine-readable.
