Abstract: This study was carried out by Chilton Research Services of Radnor, Pennsylvania, under the direction of B. Sussman of the Washington Post and J. Alderman of ABC News. Interviews were conducted with 1,521 adults. Respondents were asked their opinions on presidential performance, the economy, party identification, relations with the Soviet Union, and a nuclear weapons freeze. Data are available in either OSIRIS or card-image formats. There are 85 variables and 1,521 cases in this collection. The codebook is machine-readable.
