Abstract: The purpose of the larger survey was to assess the impact of several communication channels on the receptivity of the respondents to innovative agricultural and health practices. Data files contain information describing demographic characteristics, use of communication channels, and use of many agricultural and health practices. The eight villages included in the sample were selected from one of the basic units in development administration in India. Seven-hundred and two respondents representing 85 to 90% of the household heads in the eight villages were interviewed in the Pre-Treatment Survey; 567 were successfully reinterviewed in the follow-up (post-treatment) survey.
