Abstract: This data set contains information from two surveys conducted by the Department of Agriculture. The 1991 Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals includes information on food and nutrient intake for 5,238 individuals of all ages surveyed in the 48 conterminous United States. The 1991 Diet and Health Knowledge Survey includes information on diet, health, and food safety collected from 1,925 individuals identified as main meal planners/preparers in 1991.
