Comments: NOTE THAT THE DOCUMENTATION FILES FOR THIS STUDY WERE INCORRECTLY FORMATTED. They are nearly unreadable. The Library was informed that the format of the data file matches the 1991 data exactly, and that those documents can be used instead. The only difference is the number of respondents. These data were received from Brian Gould, Ag. Econ. 6/08 This study can be purchased at NTIS as item PB93-504843.

Abstract: This data set contains information from two surveys conducted by the Department of Agriculture. The 1990 Continuing Survey of Food Intakes By Individuals includes information on food and nutrient intakes for 4956 individuals of all ages surveyed in the 480 conterminous States who provided at least 1 day of data. The 1990 Diet and Health Knowledge Survey includes information on diet, health and food safety issues from 1899 individuals identified as main meal planners/preparers in the 1990 CSFII.
