Abstract: This study is part of an ongoing program of public opinion research sponsored by the European Community. 8,884 respondents for Euro-Barometer 11 were interviewed in April 1979. This study contains 141 variables, some of which continue the series of items on feelings toward European integration and the European community that had been asked in earlier Euro-Barometers. Attitudes toward the (then) forthcoming European Parliamentary elections in June 1979 also continue to be measured. The special focus of Euro-Barometer 11 is on attitudes toward child-rearing and on contemporary problems in raising children.
