Abstract: The 1972 Detroit Area Study surveyed respondents holding managerial, personnel, and supervisory positions in private firms. The interview focused on affirmative action questions but also included information on products, company type and structure, management style, and profitability. The file has 1,108 variables and 132 records with a logical record length of 1,842. The data are available in card image format or as an OSIRIS dataset.
