Abstract: This survey collected from civilian non-institutionalized population aged 16-69 in Canadian provinces. It attempts to measure the frequency and number of job changes in the Canadian labor market in 1986 in order to provide information on the characteristics of paid jobs held during this period. Topics include: periods of employment and unemployment, job search activities, unionization, pension plan coverage, wage rates, work schedules, inter- and intra-employer occupational mobility, and financial compensation during absences from work. There are 77,802 cases in 1987 cross-sectional file.
