Abstract: The data file contains responses to questions relating to knowledge of ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy, practice and methods of contraception, reasons for discontinuing contraception, registration with family planning services, and ideal family size (sons and daughters). Also included are personal data on the respondent's age, school attendance, religion, occupation, total married years, birth of dead child after seventh month of pregnancy, number of spontaneous abortions before the ninth month, artificial inducement to limit family size and when induced, number of pregnancies, assistance in last delivery. Personal data on respondent's husband include age, school attendance, and occupation.
