Abstract: The data file contains responses to questions relating to knowledge, use, and effectiveness of family planning and contraceptive methods, length of time of use of contraception, and ideal family size (sons and daughters). Also included are data on the respondent's physical condition, last pregnancy, date of first menstruation after birth of last child, length of breast feeding, and age when child weaned. For both the respondent and husband, personal data include educational background, religion, occupation, financial situation, material goods owned, birthplace, length of stay in present residence.
