Abstract: This study is part of a pilot study to provide measures of attitudes toward sex-role definitions, adult role definitions, motivations for having children and deterents for childbearing, population growth and its implications for having future environmental problems, and underlying values and personal desires and expectations of childbearing. Data are available on attitudes towards environmental problems, sex role and role differentiation, relationship to other adults and children; reasons for having and not having children; marriage; and background information on respondent (sex, age, marital status, occupation, religion, parents' occupation and educational attainment).
