Abstract: Individual-level data were gathered from a national sample of over 189,000 eligible voters in November 1980. Included is information on household composition and type of residence, occupational and demographic details, and voting behavior in the 1980 general election. These data were obtained in machine-readable form from the Census Bureau, and can be supplied only in the form received, i.e., 480-character logical records. There are approximately 1,134,400 card-image equivalents.
