Abstract: Respondents to this survey were asked for their opinion regarding which issues in the United States most needed to be dealt with by the government, which areas the government should go to first to cut spending, their feelings regarding welfare reform, whether certain groups are or are not paying their fair share of taxes, and other questions concerning their feelings about the current tax system.
