Abstract: Varied city-level indicators for 52 cities from numerous sources in the 1950's and 1960's, including County and City Data Books 1962 and 1957; the Municipal Yearbooks for 1964, 1965, 1966, and the 1960 U.S. Census. Interviews were conducted with political elites and other city leadership, including Chamber of Commerce, Labor, Media, the Bar, Banking, Health, and Urban Renewal. Variables cover employment, social administration, decision-making, power groups, air pollution, urban renewal, expenditures, population, education, and community resources. Data were originally in 19 decks, 52 observations, but have since been reformatted to logical record format.
