Abstract: Individual-level data were gathered from a national sample of over 162,000 eligible voters in November 1978. Included is information on household composition and type of residence, occupational and demographic details, and voting behavior in the November 1978 general election. These data were obtained in machine-readable form from the Bureau of the Census and can only be supplied as they were received, i.e., in 480-character logical records. There are approximately 977,000 card-image equivalents.
